In a high-stakes showdown at the Networks Open Season 2, Networks Padel Village’s very own coach and player, Derick Ominde, teamed up with Kennedy Musembi to claim the ultimate bragging rights as Top Kenya Champions.
The dynamic duo delivered a masterclass in precision and grit, shutting down Kian Shah and Maxwell Kombo in a thrilling 6-3, 6-4 final. But while Ominde and Musembi stole the headlines, the true victor of the one week tournament was the game of padel itself.
A Game on the Rise:
240 players competed across nine categories,
75 women took to the courts, reflecting the continued growth of women’s participation,
Seven juniors joined the competition, giving us a glimpse of the next generation of Kenyan padel talent.
